Charleston - still here!

Still living the dream here with my 3 dog pals. My friend Kelly went back home so now I'm flying solo until dog mom Cindy returns. Being unemployed and traveling I've totally lost track of days and time .... and just realized Christmas is in 2 weeks ... what?!?!?! How did that happen?!?! Looks like I'm going to have to do some shopping ASAP!

Todays post features pics from Kellys last day -it was 70+ degrees in the morning (a barefoot and tank top beach day!) and we went kayaking in Shem's Creek in the afternoon. Paddled out to an island in the harbor where we found some shark teeth (fossils) - the paddling, searching and finding were all so fun!

The unusually warm weather is coming to an end but it sure was nice! So much awesome wildlife here – we saw blue herons, egrets, pelicans and I snuck in a bald eagle pic from this morning. Enjoyed a post-paddling cocktail in the "treehouse" (the "way up a lot of stairs bar").
