Charleston - Ravenel Bridge

Today I decided it would be fun to walk up to the apex of the Ravenel bridge - it's the bridge I cross between where I'm staying and downtown Charleston. They have a park under the bridge at one end from which you can follow the pedestrian walkway up the steep bridge to the top. Views are amazing and it's surprisingly bumpy! This post is across between the engineering nerd and the photographer in me me! 😆

It is steeper than you think to walk up a bridge!

And I was surprised that they didn't make much effort to make the guard rail super high – if you wanted to jump over it it would not be hard.
