29-February-2024 Leap Day!

Happy Birthday and Anniversary to anyone whose special day is February 29th - hope there is lots of celebrating happening since you only get to do so every 4 years!

Today is a travel day for me ("leaping" across the country) - I'm headed to the east coast for some skiing. Randy (and his brother) provide medical services to Stratton VT every year in exchange for slopeside condos, and they invite a bunch of family and friends up to join them. I'm looking forward to a fun week - but unfortunately Mother Nature has not given the east coast much snow this winter. After being spoiled in Jackson Hole with 50+ inches of new snow while we were there, I'm doubtful we will see any new snow this coming week.

We'll have to make the best of it and enjoy warm spring skiing temps. Could be way worse!

So I'm going to take the week off from blogging until I fly back to LA next weekend to continue my Adventure .... the westward phase is complete and the eastward phase will begin via a more northern route.
