What a beautiful day to explore Atlanta!

The day started the best way possible – dessert for breakfast! I enjoyed the pecan pie, pumpkin pie and Jell-O salad that I didn't have room for last night after a big Thanksgiving meal. Yum!!!

After breakfast we headed out and found the perfect Christmas tree for Brianna's family. After bringing the tree home we walked the Beltline in the opposite direction of Piedmont Park into Midtown. We ended up logging more than 6 miles and enjoyed seeing all the cool art, graffiti and people along the way. On our way home we stopped at a fun bar that sells giant adult spiked juice boxes – as Brianna's mom said "we were walking and drinking" on our way home.

Then in the evening we went to the beautiful Atlanta botanical gardens where every Christmas they have an amazing light show. They have the worlds largest light curtain which is 1600 strings of lights synchronized to music. Absolutely amazing and enchanting!

I went to my first Ramen place for dinner and then we ended the night playing a fun game. What a great day!

This video won't do it justice but here's a clip from the light show of 1600 strands of light in the forest that are choreographed to music - it was captivating!
