I decided to take one of those touristy trolley tours today so I could get a feel for what Nashville has to offer. It had 13 stops around the city where you could get on and off and explore. All the action is down on Broadway where there are lots of honky-tonk bars featuring live artists. There are tons of bars, cowboy boot stores, cowboy hat stores, and more bars. Here's the daytime view of the bars on lower Broadway:

It was fun to tour Nashville and get my bearings. The downtown area is right on the waterfront and the Titans stadium is immediately across the river. There is an old bridge that has been turned into a pedestrian bridge which made for a nice walk and view of Nashville. all the bars are arranged so that the stage is right up against the front window and the performers back is to the street and they played to the audience inside. Because of the good weather they all had their giant windows open so you could see and hear the performers as you walked by. They were all excellent! I'm looking forward to going to several different venues this weekend to check out the music scene. 🤠 🎶

Get a wide-brimmed hat. Stylish, but really functional in bad weather.
