On Sunday morning we had a treat – we got so busy playing cards the night before that we did not have the delicious peach cobbler that Aimee had made – so we had it Saturday morning with vanilla ice cream! Any day that has ice cream on the breakfast menu is bound to be a good day! I saw two deer outside the bathroom window and we once again found some fun trails near the stream that runs past their house to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful day.

I headed south to my next stop: Tracy & Kevin's beautiful apartment in Alexandria VA. Traci and I spent the afternoon walking through the streets of old town Alexandria and down along the Potomac river and we might have enjoyed a flight at a local wine bar.

The local streets were still decorated for Halloween and we posed in front of the "Spite House" (only 7ft 6in wide - the narrowest house in America) - built in an alleyway way back when by a landowner who is tired of people cutting through his alley so he built a house there to spite them. That evening we went out to see comedian Leeann Morgan - she was super funny!
