Saturday I left CT and stopped in NY and NJ to walk a mile in each of those states on my way to PA to visit with my college friend Amy and her family.

Amy lives on a beautiful 180 acre property and upon my arrival we took a walk on the trails through her woods and cornfields. She lives in rural southeast PA (Amish country) and I'm a huge fan of her 6-year-old daughter Maria. They are lucky enough to have a potbelly pig, 3 geese, a bunny and a cat!
